Reni Port has received a front-end wheel loader under the “Restoration of Critical Logistics Infrastructure and Network Connectivity” (RELINC) Project, which is being implemented by the USPA in partnership with the World Bank.
The equipment was supplied by Zeppelin Ukraine. The procurement was carried out through the Prozorro system in accordance with the World Bank Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers, in line with the principles of open competition and transparency.
The new equipment will strengthen cargo-handling capacity of Reni Port and improve efficiency of cargo operations. This is particularly important for the Danube logistics corridor, which continues to operate under critical conditions.
Background: The RELINC Project is being implemented by USPA jointly with the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development through grant financing from the Ukraine Relief, Recovery, Reconstruction and Reform Multi-Donor Trust Fund.
