USPA and the State Border Guard Service Move to Automated Data Exchange via DocPort

The SE “Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority” and the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine have signed an Information Cooperation Agreement. The document launches electronic data exchange between the parties within the DocPort port logistics system.

Under the Agreement, information on the entry and exit of freight vehicles carrying commercial cargo through sea port checkpoints will be transmitted to the State Border Guard Service automatically. This eliminates the need for manual submission of information and reduces the time required for control procedures.

In the future, the scope of data exchange will be expanded to include crew and passenger lists.

The agreement with the State Border Guard Service is another step towards building a fully fledged digital environment in Ukrainian sea ports.
