SE USPA Launches Repairs of Four Berths at the Port of Reni

The Reni Branch of the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority has commenced routine repairs of four berths at the Reni sea port — №15, №23, №26, and №27. The contractor was selected through an open tender conducted via the Prozorro procurement system. The total value of the contract amounts to 12.1 millionUAH.

The repairs are necessitated by the significant physical deterioration of the berth infrastructure, most of which dates back to the 1960s–1980s. According to technical inspections carried out in 2024 by specialists from ChornomorNDIproekt in cooperation with the Shipping Register of Ukraine, the structures have sustained substantial damage — including cracks, deformations, corrosion of metal components, and other defects — posing safety risks for mooring operations.

The project includes structural repairs and reinforcements, replacement of damaged metal elements, renovating of mooring bollards and gangways, installation of new fender systems, and application of standard-compliant markings.

All works are being carried out without interrupting port operations and are scheduled for completion by the end of 2025.More on the procurement: Prozorro No. UA-2025-03-28-008688-a
