Ukraine Is Systematically Strengthening Protection Against UAVs — and Ports Are No Exception

USPA, together with business, has joined this effort directly.

“This year, USPA has allocated more than UAH 100 million for measures to protect port infrastructure. At the same time, we understand that the result depends not only on financing, but above all on coordinated daily work. That is why, together with business, we continue to look for solutions that strengthen the joint protection of infrastructure,” said Mykola Kravchuk, Head of USPA.

There has been important progress — protection has been strengthened, specialised units are working systematically, and the interception rate of attacks is increasing.

This cooperation was recognised during an award ceremony for port management and business representatives by the Defence Forces of Ukraine.

“Once again, I would like to thank the military for the work that often remains outside public attention, yet is critically important for us. Cooperation with the units working directly in the ports is effective and will continue to be strengthened,” added the Head of USPA.
