USPA Announces Tender for Overhaul of Berth No. 9 at Chornomorsk Port

The Chornomorsk branch of the SE “Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority” has announced a tender for major repair works on Berth No. 9.

The estimated cost of construction works amounts to UAH 61.4 million.

The berth has been in operation for more than 60 years and has sustained significant structural damage that limits its full use. The overhaul will eliminate these restrictions and enhance the berth’s operational capacity.

Despite constant threats and shelling by russia, the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority continues to systematically restore and modernise port infrastructure. These efforts ensure the continuity of maritime logistics, support stable export of Ukrainian goods, and maintain Ukraine’s critical role in global trade networks.

Completion of the works is expected in the second quarter of 2026.
