USPA Launches Strategic Cooperation with Baltic Ports

The SE “Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority” and the Baltic Ports Organization (BPO) have launched a strategic partnership aimed at developing long-term cooperation, exchanging experience, and implementing joint initiatives in the port sector. The agreement was signed by Vitalii Vaidych, representative of USPA, and Bogdan Oldakowski, Secretary General of BPO, during the Baltic Ports Conference in Gdansk.

The cooperation between USPA and BPO provides for the exchange of best practices in port management, development of joint projects in investment, logistics, energy efficiency, and green technologies, as well as implementation of digital solutions to optimise port operations. Particular attention will be given to joint training programmes and internships for maritime professionals, exchange of expertise in public-private partnerships, and attracting investment in port infrastructure development.

The partnership with BPO marks an important step towards integrating Ukrainian ports into the European logistics network. It opens new opportunities for Ukraine’s participation in joint projects focused on the recovery and modernisation of port infrastructure, development of sustainable supply routes, digitalisation, and enhancement of environmental standards.
